Tarangire is Tanzania’s most underrated national park and one of Africa’s best. During dry season (June–October), the Tarangire River acts as the only water source for hundreds of kilometres, drawing the largest elephant concentrations on Earth — herds of 300+ animals. Ancient baobab trees create a landscape unlike anywhere else.
