Samburu National Reserve

Samburu is Kenya’s most distinctive reserve. The semi-arid landscape is home to five species found nowhere else — reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. The Ewaso Nyiro River brings elephants, leopards, and crocodiles in extraordinary concentration. Samburu Maasai culture provides one of Kenya’s richest cultural encounters.
